How can it be,
that we can no longer see
what it means to be
truly faithful to thee?
All we want is not what we need.
I need more room to breathe.
Don't tell me you do not believe
Reveal to me the light unseen.
We fight, so hard, for happiness in this world.
Do we ever truly reach it?
Do we ever reach the summit?
